Leadership and Management
I have over 7 years experience working on two highly successful international rural development projects, most recently as Team Leader for the EU-funded Development of Sustainable Agriculture in the Pacific (DSAP), involving 16 countries.
Previously, I worked as Team Leader for the AusAID-funded Taro Genetic Resources: Conservation and Utilisation (TaroGen) project, involving 9 countries.  These projects, totaling approximately €10 million, in addition to technical components had important capacity-building and communication/information aspects and used participatory approaches extensively.

I have considerable expertise in all aspects of the project management cycle including priority setting, project design, logical framework approach, implementation, monitoring and evaluation and reporting. Having worked in a dynamic international, multi-stakeholder environment has required strong leadership skills. TaroGen and DSAP have been major showcase projects for both donors and SPC.
